Because the Metro at 11:00 was so jammed with people trying to do the same, we did not make it into DC until 1:00. That's how many people there were coming in from Fairfax. As we were entering the city at Metro station, many were already leaving. Attendants at the staion said they had never seen lines this long before. Jim and I , along with 6 other adults and 2 babies, tried to make it into the city for the march.
