Someone from another post referred me to a site called www.Dearpolitician.org to write my politicians. The site is really cool in the fact that it automates everything and you can write your President, Vice President, Senators, and Congressman. The really interesting parts are that you can write complete Senate and Congressional committees. After you write what you want to say in the body of the template, you can print them off and mail them yourself or you can have Dearpolitician.org fax them to their offices instantly for FREE. If you want your letters delivered today, go to that site! Just passing along a cool site!

I was just thinking this morning - if there are any members of Roanoke Tea Party who live in Congressman Boucher's district, this week would be a good time to call and thank him for the "No" vote on health care reform, then ask him to pass those sentiments on to our Senators, Webb, & Warner who share membership in the Democrat party.

I will confess to several swear-words as the count kept running upward towards the dreaded 218. Couldn't help but notice the lone republican "yea" vote waited until the 218 had been attained before voting with the democrats. I later learned it was Rep. Cao, of Louisiana. (wouldn't wanna be him monday morning!) O.K. fellow patriots... we lost this one, but we lost it swinging. Time to heat up the tea-kettle on Sen. Warner & Webb.

To make it easier, the phone numbers to call are listed below:
Call Mark Warner at 202-224-6295
Call Jim Webb at 202-224-4024

We should also continue to let Perriello know what we think of his decision to vote for this bill by calling his Washington office too at 202-225-4711. Perriello was rated as the most vulnerable Democrat for re-election next year by The Washington Post. Let's make sure we let him know his days are numbered!
