You ask if I feel "let down". The question you should ask me is, am I angry?

The answer is, YES. I'm angry whenever politicians are so arrogant that they think our Constitution exists only to be abused by them. I challenge Mr. Periello to show me where in the Constitution it says I'm REQUIRED to make monetary purchases to privately held companies, in this case insurance companies. He can't and he won't try, because he knows this clearly violates the 13th Amendment, i.e., ban of involuntary servitude. And really, subjecting all of us, under threat of fines and/or imprisonment for refusing to bow and scrape to this type of tyranny, is nothing more than an overt attempt to enslave us financially and economically to the private insurance sector (and, of course, the wonderful feral government).
