Another reason why I am no longer a Republican…and other notes…

If you don’t read Michelle Malkin, you should…
The hypocracy of John McCain knows no bounds…read this link only if you don’t have a blood pressure problem.
A lot of hand wringing about the latest Supreme Court nominee. Good articles here and here…but I think Coulter hits the nail on the head…whomever Obama nominates is going to be bad.
Coulter’s article raises a difficult question. If the Supreme Court makes blatantly unconstitutional decisions, should sovereign states like Virginia be bound by them?
Prepping for the July 4th rally, community programsĀ and other pre-November moves…our next meeting on June 3 should be jam packed.

I am a republican and PROUD to be one. The republican party platform is what I believe in. I remember when the Democratic party was for limited government and for pro life, but because of people in the party it has changed completely. People is what changes the party not the other way around. The tea party can be changed as well by the people. You can’t win elections with a third party. Sorry. PLUS the Tea party and Republicans believe in the SAME principles and agree on the same issues. Makes no sense to me.
When exactly is the GOP going to change? They came into power in the 1980s promising to reduce the size of government…and didn’t do it….They came into power in the 90s with the Contract for America…and quickly abandoned principles. And 6 years of the Bush Administratrion and GOP controlled House….got us higher deficits and more government.
I wouldn’t be proud to be the party of Graham, McCain and Schwarzenegger….
I sure hope that the GOP can change, but we aren’t marching off the cliff with the GOP just to be the lesser of two evils. When the GOP actually follows their creed…the RTP will support them. When they don’t we won’t.
If the GOP was doing their job, they would put me out of business.
