Every day you watch the news…every day it becomes increasingly obvious that the powers that be in Washington have completely jumped the shark.
Castro has joined in bashing the new immigration laws and talking about Human Rights, along with China, that bastion of individual liberties.
Maybe Congress can give him a standing O too…
Our former hero, Scott Brown (or Ted Kennedy Lite) voted along with the Democrats to push through the financial reform bill. This bill will effectively give the Executive Branch the power to bailout whomever and whatever, they want and change regulations without Congressional approval. Basically, it has gutted the legislature and given near dictatorial power to the Executive Branch. Read more here
I’m sure that will end well…and the GOP was so effective in fighting this…NOT.
And no one will give an interview or talk to the press unless it is tightly controlled. Even CBS is starting to complain about that “transparency” thing…(or lack there of)
We need to start preparing ourselves that our own state may be the best way to fix the government. The most effective challenges to the DC power grab have been Arizona’s Immigration Bill and Virginia’s Health Care Freedom Act coupled with Ken Cuccinelli’s courageous battle against the Feds in court.
We have 10th Amendment rights…
Virginia is a sovereign state…
We need to draw a line around the state of Va. and say no more. And we need to be a leader of the states who refuse to cowtow to an increasingly powerful and tyrannical Federal government.
Everyone is focused on a Federal level solution. We need to fill our local, state and Federal positions with patriots who understand the Constitution. It’s going to take every level of government to reign in the out of control Feds…
The change has to begin at home. We will be rolling out a LOT of new stuff for our June 3rd meeting. Hold on…it’s going to be a very active 2010.
