First of all, thanks for another great public meeting last Thursday. For those that weren’t there Thursday, you missed a good one.
One of the highlights was Strother Smith from the 10th Amendment Foundation. He will be filing several lawsuits against the Health Care Reform Laws. We will be helping this group with publicity and Strother will be speaking at the 4th of July Rally.
Speaking of the 4th of July, we will have the lineup and event fleshed out by early this week. We have a very exciting day planned. We just confirmed Sonnie Johnson for a return to Roanoke! Strother is also slotted to speak…

SInce there seemed to be a lot more interest in the October 8-9 State Convention, we will not be sponsoring a bus trip to DC this summer. I know there will be other groups putting together trips and we will post information on them when we get it.
As for the state convention, that is coming together too….here is a preliminary website…not much here yet. More to come soon, but we want to bring busloads of SWVA Patriots to this event.
