We wanted to thank all of the sponsors, participants and volunteers who made An American Celebration such a big success. We’ll have a lot of pictures posted on our Facebook page as well. Video from some of the speakers will also be available soon on our site.
Our focus will be shifting now for the remainder of 2010.
- Our main goal is to finish developing our state sovereignty agenda and begin promoting that at the State Tea Party Convention in Richmond on October 8 and 9. We need at least 300 SW VA residents in Richmond for this event.
- We’ll be vetting and grading out the candidates for the upcoming Congressional races. We will not be endorsing any Federal candidate, only providing information for our members. Our focus is going to be on the State elections of 2011.
- We’ll be looking to do more outreach programs and work with our sister group, The 2nd Tuesday Constitution Group on educational opportunities.
