Roanoke Tea Party

The Inaugural Virginia Tea Party Convention will be held on October 8Th and October 9Th. We have 2 buses reserved for the State Tea party Convention. We have lots of room on both.

Why should you go?

• Show the state and the nation we are a force to be reckoned with…
•  We will be rolling out legislative items for the upcoming legislative session. Direct Tea Party action helped ensure passage of the the Health Care Freedom Act in Virginia last year, a first step in starting the long road back on state sovereignty. Governor calls the 10th Amendment the “forgotten amendment.”  What most members of the General Assembly need to be reminded CONSTANTLY is that they are often willing partners to Federal overreach…taking funds from the Feds to support unconstitutional mandates. This will begin a build up for the upcoming lobby day in January…where we will bring thousands of patriots to Richmond to lobby your local representatives.We will have a host of different legislative items that will help move us in that direction.  We will also be sharing information on the Freedom For Virginians Act, so our “missionaries” need to go!!!
• There are a lot of cool speakers including Lou Dobbs, Dick Morris and others. Plus one of our members will get a chance to address 3000+ people in regards to limited government.
