Convention Update and FFVA Update

We had a great time at the Convention.
There was a good report on WDBJ 7. Click here for the link. We also had a good, fair article in the Roanoke Times that mentions the FFVA. This Times article has a quote from Greg Aldridge from our board.
We gave away 4,000 + FFVA fliers and got a tremendous response. We also have support from several experts on nullification. They have posted counter arguments to critics of the FFVA. Click here and here for that…
We worked with Sonnie Johnson to moderate a forum for 6th District Candidates with Jeff Vanke and Stuart Bain. We have completed our vetting process, click here for that information.
Goodlatte managed to make it to the party here in Richmond on Friday night. But he refused to actually participate in the actual forum with his opponents. To me, that’s just embarrasing.
I delivered a speech before 3000+ patriots Saturdat and I think it went great. The crowd was on their feet as I delivered the message that the state has to stand up to the Feds. I can’t wait to get the video up.
Thanks to all that went and participated. The convention was a big success. My only concern is that we got a little too cozy with the GOP. The second RT article made that point and I think they are correct. We needed a lot more tough questions and a lot less political speeches…we need a lot more action and a lot less talk.
But overall, it was a good weekend and great weekend for the Roanoke Tea Party and the FFVA.
