Come one, come all to the Roanoke Tea Party’s 2010 election night extravaganza – let’s welcome the 112th Congress in style!

Watch the returns come in on November 2 with your fellow Tea Party patriots at Blue 5 Restaurant, in downtown Roanoke.

Won’t it be fun seeing long-serving politicians involuntarily retired by their constituents, one by one? The only thing better than watching it happen will be doing so with a room full of fed-up, likeminded citizens.

Local returns will come in quickly, but many of the key races out west will take a while, and the fine folks at Blue 5 welcome us to stay as late as 2:00 a.m.

We’ve reserved the Red Room, downstairs at Blue 5, where there are multiple wide-screens TVs to ensure that you won’t miss a thing. They will have heavy hors d’oeuvres set out (hot and cold) all evening, along with cold draft beer for the asking.

We are asking for a $25 donation to help defray expenses. A cash bar will be set up downstairs, and full service from Blue 5′s dinner menu will be available as well.

Blue 5 is located at 312 2nd Street in Roanoke, between Campbell and Kirk Avenue (across from City Hall). There is parking in the lot adjacent to the restaurant.

Roanoke Tea Party Incumbent Retirement Celebration:

  • Tuesday, November 2 from 7:00 p.m. until…
  • Heavy hors d’oeuvres (spinach dip, meatballs, chips and salsa, chicken tenders and turkey pinwheels), and draft beer available for a recommended $25 donation.
  • Cash bar and full-service menu also available.
  • Multiple wide screen TVs to keep current with all the important races.

Fellowship and camaraderie with your Tea Party pals!

Please RSVP by phone (540-491-0212) or email if you would like to attend. We can accommodate between 80-120 people for this event, and you do not need to be a member of the Roanoke Tea Party to attend.

We hope you can spend election night with us on November 2. It will be one to remember.

Thanks again to everyone who has supported the Tea Party in 2010.
