Thank you to Congressman Griffith…this is what the 2nd Amendment Is About…

In an WFIR 960 interview, Congressman Morgan Griffith discussed his comfort level with security at local events. He states in this short clip that since local citizens likely are exercising their 2nd Amendment rights at his public events, that he is confident they will help protect him in the event of a threat of violence.
While we have some questions about Congressman Griffith’s support of the Patriot Act, we sure do appreciate his open, steadfast and realistic opinion of what the 2nd Amendment REALLY means.
We should not be reliant on other for protection, we have the rights granted by our founders to protect ourselves and our fellow citizens.
It gives us great pleasure to hear an elected official describe gun rights in these very specific terms.
