ICLEI/Agenda 21 Roanoke Meetng tonight.

Ablemarle County has struck the first blow for freedom in the commonwealth by voting to end all relationships with ICLEI. This is tremendous news. The video linked here shows the county board’s vote.That is also our goal in Roanoke County as well. It can be done and we can make it happen by demanding this of our supervisors and by removing those supervisors, like Charlotte Moore, that support ICLEI.

We will be having this big meeting on Wednesday June 15 at the Oak Grove Park (Small park right behind Oak Grove Elementary School on the Grandin Road Ext. off of Electric Road.) View Larger Map
It should be a beautiful evening and we will start at 6:30 PM at the shelter there. We will cover some of the details of why it is so important to remove all traces of ICLEI from Roanoke County. There will also have 2 gentlemen running for the county board who are interested in learning more about this and they will be looking for support. So we look to see you there as we kick off our effort to remove ICLEI from Roanoke County.

It is up but we will be adding much more content this week on our local fight, as well as ICLEI related issues across the Commonwealth. We will have the contents of the meeting loaded today so you can get a sneak peek. As well as some of our supporting data. Much more to come over the next few weeks.
