on October 13th, 2011 at 9:50 pmYou probably have seen the ridiculous “You aren’t from around here, boy” commercials from Roscoe Reynold’s. If not, you can watch it here, along with a fact check showing that this ad repeatedly lies. I know it’s shocking that a politician would lie, but it is true.
Is it just me, or does this commercial paint a picture of what Roscoe Reynold’s thinks of the voters in his district? I guess he thinks most of the voters in his district are dumb enough to be persuaded by this commercial. This commercial seems like a bad parody of a political ad that would be played in the last 30 minutes of Saturday Night Live.
Seriously, who cares whether Bill Stanley’s phone number is in the phone book? What matters is how your State Senator votes.
The sad truth is that Roscoe Reynold’s has an atrocious voting record. Roscoe is a typical Southwestern Virgina Democrat.
An A rating from the NRA. And he stinks on everything else.
However the AFL-CIO likes him OK….giving him an 82% rating. The video at the top of the video shows more reasons people in Reynold’s district ought to be glad Bill Stanley is giving them a choice.
Whether he is new in town or not.
