We have a lot of stuff brewing leading up to our Independence Day Event on July 5.
June 27: We have decided to turn our regular July 5th meeting into our Independence Day Event. We will be heavily promoting the event and on June 27 we will be having a sign making party at our HQ at 2026 Brambleton Ave. The party starts at 6:00 PM and we will have free pizza for those who want to help. We will be reusing some old Godsey/Jackson signs but if you have any ideas bring them along with some supplies. You can also hear the details of our plans for the July 5 meeting.
We think it will be a thought provoking way to bring in new folks and grab some attention from the media.
June 28: Roanoke Rally Against Tim Kaine 9:30am Roanoke Civic Center Parking Lot (parking lot A), (710 Williamson Road, Roanoke, VA)
One thing we can all agree on is that Tim Kaine would be a terrible Senator. Hear a variety of speakers including Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and Roanoke Tea Party’s own Greg Honeycutt reinforce the fact that Kaine would be a disaster as our next Senator.

As part of his remarks, Greg will be promoting the July 5 Independence Day event. We will follow the AFP meeting announcement up by putting out the signs around town. If you willing to help with that, contact Greg at Gregory.honeycutt@gmail.com. We will also begin to send out Press Releases and doing our best to get folks out to the event. We will be changing the message on some of those signs throughout the week, making phone calls and we will need several volunteers to help with that. Greg Needs Your Help!
Thursday July 5. The usual time and place for our monthly meeting (Holiday Inn Tanglewood 6:30 PM) Bring a friend. This is going to be a powerful meeting with a message to our Federal Representatives on how to deal with the President when he oversteps his Constitutional Authority.
We also will have news on how we plan to expand our base and some other changes coming so if you can make one meeting this year
