I saw this great site this morning with a lot of great information on Agenda 21 and wanted to share and give an update on our efforts here on Agenda 21.
We continue to fight Agenda 21 at the local level. We have a whole new bunch of documentation from a recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request we have procured from the county. We are reviewing the documents and according to one county official, our efforts to end the relationship with the United Nations Agenda 21 partner organization ICLEI is “relentless.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Independent BOS members Butch Church and Ed Elswick have already stated and voted for the removal of ICLEI.
All we need is one of the Republican BOS members to go along and ICLEI is GONE. (And we can be relentless on another topic) That shouldn’t be hard since:
The County Republican Committee unanimously passed a resolution to exit ICLEI. The National Republican Committee did the same thing.
They refuse to deal with this issue. Keep the pressure on them! And remember that there is an election next year and country residents can put someone in place who understands the threat of Agenda 21.
