I try to post an article Monday morning, but today I was tooling up the road to Washington D.C. I am participating in a press conference (in a support role) for this event on behalf of E.W. Jackson and his non-profit STAND.
This press conference is in support of STAND’s call for Christans who consider themselves to be Democrats to “Exodus Now” from the party.
Religious leaders from across the country will be speaking on behalf of this issue. We are at the National Press Club, which is very cool. In the very room we are holding our press conference, Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services, was holding a press conference earlier today.
Her entoruage just about plowed me over in the hallway as they were leaving. Don’t have that happen every day. I wanted to ask her about Obamacare but she seemed like she was in a hurry.
This is shaping up to be an interesting event. More later when we are back in town!
