The Virginia Green Menace which promotes honest environmentalism and exposes the fraud in the “Big Environmental Industry” –thus helping people be true stewards of our land and educating government officials and citizens on the facts surrounding false environmental theories which waste public resources and infringe on the natural rights of citizens – handed out an award to Chip Tarbutton as the leader of the Roanoke Tea Party Saturday, September 15.
The ceremony which occurred while President Tarbutton was live on the “Virginia Tea Party Network” which airs Saturdays at noon on FoxRadio Roanoke AM910. The citizen led Virginia Green Menace group in SW Virginia has no affiliations to any public or private interests which could cloud the judgment of its members on environmental issues. Gregory Aldridge, a founding member of VGM, handed out the award saying, ”I am pleased to be able to recognize the efforts of the Roanoke Tea Party to conduct itself in an environmentally conscious way.”
Officially, the award states, ”As president of the Roanoke Tea Party he has shown exceptional leadership by both directing his organization’s operations in an environmentally conscious manner without government force nor government subsidy. He has also shown fearless leadership by directing his organization and its volunteers to fight the faux environmentalism that threatens not only Roanoke, but world civilization as well. These activities include, but are not limited to: Recycling, Conservation, Energy Efficiency, Environmental Education and the willingness to expose fraud in the “Big Environmental Industry” “
On the environmental work being done by the Roanoke Tea Party and the Virginia Green Menace, Aldridge said “This is hard work that only honest people can do.” Tarbutton added, ”All this work happens without using government at any level to force anyone to contribute financially against their will like the faux environmental movement does.”
Aldridge went on to say, “On the issue of Roanoke County’s membership in ICLEI” a faux environmental group with ties to RC Clear and the United Nations Agenda 21 group “President Tarbutton showed real courage by speaking out publicly in opposition to the county’s ICLEI membership, in the face of hostile support for the county’s affiliation”
More awards will be given out as earned in the near future.”
