Lies Are Still The Norm: Part 1

According to recent polls, Romney is surging ahead in the Presidential race. Most are attributing the debate to this…I was doubtful about this, but since 70 million people tuned in to see Obama fail to defend his indefensible record…perhaps people are starting to look a little more critically at the veracity of what comes out of the White House.
Some of the recent lies are starting to even strain the ability of a compliant media to cover them up. Over the next few days, we will be discussing the lies that are shaping this campaign and our nation.
So lets look first at a few lies that might actually come to light.
The State Department is now saying that they never concluded that the Libyan attacks were caused by that anti-Islamic movie. Even the most ardent Democrat can’t keep telling this lie with a straight face.
I mean this is a quote from White House spokesperson Jay Carney just last week:
“Based on the information that we have now, it was — there was a reaction to the video — there was protests in Cairo, then followed by protests elsewhere, including Benghazi, and that was what led to the original unrest.”
Combined with the knowledge most people have about the state of the economy from their own experience, instead of the rosy picture painted by the Administration, perhaps people are not quite as gullible as I thought. But the lies that come from the left are so prevalent and so insidious that it is hard to tell.
Well if people are starting to look critically at the issues of the day, there is plenty that we should be letting them know about.
Jack Welsh is calling the recent unemployment numbers what they are….a lie. Take a few minutes and read Welsh’s article…there is NO doubt these numbers are cooked.
The reduction in jobless claims is a direct result of one state not reporting and other “factors.”
This on top of everything from the Fast and Furious, an avalanche of Executive orders to the NDAA point to a Federal government and an Executive branch out of control and spinning the PR of its own death spiral.
But they aren’t the only source for these lies…In Part 2, we will start looking at the rest of the left wing lie machine that is shaping our society. Until we get to the truth…any short term victories we achieve are illusory.
