More views from the DC March
September 14, 2009 · Posted in Roanoke Tea Party Posts
Here is a video comprised of images taken at Saturday’s 09.12.09 March On Washington. It was created by Erik Kritter, a member of both the Roanoke and Franklin County Tea Party groups, from the more than 1500 photos he shot in DC.
Erik also put together a live action video he shot on Saturday, seeking to answer the big question “How many people were at the march?”

Jim and I , along with 6 other adults and 2 babies, tried to make it into the city for the march. Because the Metro at 11:00 was so jammed with people trying to do the same, we did not make it into DC until 1:00. That’s how many people there were coming in from Fairfax. As we were entering the city at Metro station, many were already leaving. Attendants at the staion said they had never seen lines this long before.
